Buffy is enjoying semi-retirement of the farm here at Gamester following the birth of her first litter in 2003 - watch for her beautiful young son, Gamester Wonderwall (Leo) who is already enjoying great success in the show ring. The top
Staffordshire Bull Terrier in 2001/2002, according to the
Staffordshire Bull Terrier Society of NSW Point Score and the British
Terrier Club of NSW Point Score, Buffy's fabulous campaign when in
co-ownership with Glen and Donna Grogan continued the Gamester
tradition with great wins such as these: BEST IN SHOW - Canberra
Sporting Terrier Club - April 2002 BEST IN SHOW - British
Terrier Club of NSW - October 2001 "Only
19 months old but I liked this superbly balanced red and white pied
bitch in every regard. Beautifully shaped head, dark round eyes,
excellent expression, tidy ears and good mouth. She has a square front
with plenty of strength in the legs, powerful shoulders, level topline
held as such when powerfully motoring up the ring. She has really well
sprung ribs in complete balance with depth of brisket and length of
back. I had marked in my notes that she is light in loins – too rare a
virtue since the UK Kennel Club inadvertently dropped the requirement
from our breed standard. I had also commented on her hindquarters, even
her neat feet. Finally I had written the single word “SUPER” – and
she is! BEST AUSTRALIAN BRED IN
SHOW - ACT Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club - April 2002 "A super red and white of quality in the standard, punishing head piece, very good pigmentation, short in back, level top line, she was overweight today, so was penalised for this in the challenge." BEST AUSTRALIAN BRED
- Queensland Kennel Club - June 2002 "An
eye catching red pied. She
appealed to me in many respects. Sturdily built CHALLENGE BITCH, RUNNER UP BEST IN SHOW - Staffordshire Bull Terrier Society of NSW Inc Yvonne Reeder Memorial Championship Show - October 2002. Good sized head with out losing her feminine look, distinct stop and strong foreface. Perfect ear carriage and beautiful expression. Good shoulder placement, straight front, level topline, short coupled with good turn of stifle. Moved and handled well." YVONNE
