The pick of Oisin's first Australian litter, and his first Australian champion, Galadriel has lead his progeny into the show-ring with style! This showy young bitch enjoyed a hugely successful start to her show career, winning Reserve Challenge (to her close relative Buffy) and Best Minor In Group at her very first show out of Baby Puppy, going on to multiple quality challenge wins and Best Puppy In Show awards, all breeds. Galadriel obtained her Australian championship title in style at just over 12 months of age, taking out Best In Group and Runner Up Best In Show at the Illawarra and South East of NSW Championship Show for her final points. She was also Best of Breed, both days, as well as Best Australian Bred In Group and selected in the final four for Best In Group in a quality Terrier entry at the 2003 RNSWCC Spring Fair Dog Show. Our thanks to terrier specialist judges Mrs A Katona (U.S.A) and Mr S Hegelsen (Norway). We were also honoured when Galadriel was awarded the Les Kendall Best Bred By Exhibitor award at the SBTS of NSW Inc 76th Championship Show under noted all-rounder Mrs Linda Buckley (A.C.T) from a large, quality entry, continuing her specialty career by going on to be awarded Reserve Challenge Bitch at the 77th Championship Show under Mr Phil Kersey (N.Z). She was also awarded the Yvonne Reeder Best Champion at the Society's 78th Championship Show under Mrs Barbara Skilton (NSW) - beating some lovely champions in the class named in honour of our founder - and Challenge Bitch and Runner Up Best of Breed from 120 Staffords at the Sporting Terrier Club of Queensland August 2005 Championship show under bull breeds specialist Mr David Hill (N.Z). At two years of age Galadriel is well on the path to her Grand Championship title, with multiple Challenge, Best of Breed, and Best In Group awards in top metropolitan competition. She is practically unbeatable in the bitch classes and the points continue to rack up for this consistent young bitch.
