Following her judging assignment awarding CC's in the UK last September, Kerrie's letter of approval from the English Kennel Club has been uploaded to the Judging page. This approval now means that Kerrie is now able to award CC's to Staffords in the U.K at any time.

Galadriel's back - better than ever - and Jojo makes her presence felt!

Galadriel has made a triumphant return to the showring after a short break, taking out a 25 point Best of Breed under terrier specialit Miss Karen Fergusson at the metropolitan St George Kennel Club.

The following week, the team made a successful appearance at the RNSWCC Christmas Party and Championship Show, with Galadriel taking out a large Challenge Bitch as well as Runner Up Best of Breed. Jojo followed her Best Minor Puppy of Breed the week before with an outstanding Best Minor Puppy In Group win over some great competition, and was shortlisted for Best Minor Puppy In Show. Our thanks to judge Mrs Carolyn Butler.

Great wins for our team at the Stafford specialty!

Our team went to the Staffordshire Bull Terrier Society of NSW Inc 79th Championship Show under breed specialists Mr Alan Gregory (ordinary classes) and Mrs Jean Hockey (special classes), achieving some great results:

  • Spoil - 1st Intermediate Bitch, Best Intermediate In Show

  • Leo - 1st Intermediate Dog, Best Opposite Intermediate In Show, Les Kendall Best Bred By Exhibitor

Our team also did extremely well at the SBTS of NSW Inc Fifteenth Sanction Show, held on the same evening and judged by the trainee judges from the RNSWCC Judges Training Scheme.

Leo completes his championship title- more wins for Oisin's progeny

Leo completes his championship title in style, winning Best of Breed over some nice dogs at Newcastle & Northern Districts Kennel Club. Our thanks to the judges who have recognised the excellence of this extremely typical and sound-moving dog. Leo becomes the twelfth champion sired by Oisin in five countries!

In more wonderful news for Oisin's progeny, his son Dockside Bellicose Laddie, owned and bred in New Zealand by Kathy Grattan, was awarded Best In Show at the Southern Cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier Society's annual championship show under English breed specialist Dr Sarah Hemstock (Jolihem). Congratulations to Kathy and Cass!

Following a stunning run of successive all breeds Best In Show wins, Oisin's son Ch Stafflare Double Image is now Australia's number one Stafford and Australia's third top terrier according to the Dogzonline Point Score. Our congratulations to Linda and Dee on these outstanding achievements!

Jojo makes a sensational debut!

Jojo goes to her first show at the Canberra Sporting Terrier Championship Show, defeating a huge terrier entry to be awarded Best Baby Puppy In Show under terrier specialist Mrs Lyn Brown. What a start to this gorgeous baby's show career - we are looking forward to big things from this confident little Murphy/Spoil daughter! At the same show, Oisin's daugter Vanstaff Fire N Ice (owned by Cary and Adriana Van Kleef and handled on the day by Peta) stood out from a large and top quality bitch to be awarded Reserve Challenge Bitch. 'Allie' is now only a few points away from her title.

Our teams takes top honours in Brisbane!

Peta and team  team returns home from a successful trip to the Sporting Terrier Club of Queensland Championship Show in Brisbane. From an entry of over 120 Staffords, Galadriel takes out Challenge Bitch and Runner Up Best of Breed. Leo takes out Reserve Challenge Dog over mature competition. What a wonderful time for Oisin's progeny!

His son - Ch Stafflare Double Image - has just taken three all breeds Best In Show in a row. Huge congratulations to Dee and his owner/breeder Linda Boyle.

His son in Sweden, Nollaig, just racked up another international title to become Irish/Swedish/and now Finnish Champion Moindearg Goban Saor. Nollaig finished his Finnish title in style, winning Best In Show at the Finnish National Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club show from over 160 entries under U.S breed specialist Mr Zane Smith. Oisin congratulates Nollaig, his owner Thomas Jerninger and breeders Tom and Pat Hehir.

Leo racks up some great wins...

A great win for Lenny, more champion progeny for Oisin...

While the rest of the Gamester show team enjoys a well-earned break, our super youngster Lenny went to the British Terrier Club of NSW Championship Show, winning Best of Breed, Runner Up Best In Show and Best Australian Bred In Show under terrier specialist judge Mr Kevin Howard. Lenny is now well on the path to his championship title from only limited showing - way to go Donna and Lenny!

Well done also to Linda Boyle and her outstanding Oisin progeny. Dee - Ch Stafflare Double Image - took out his fourth straight Best In Group award last weekend, and the stunning Lily completed her championship title to become Ch Stafflare Tiger Lily and the fourth champion from this outstanding litter. Lily is Oisin's tenth champion. Congratulations to the team at Stafflare!

Sensational specialty results!

The Gamester team went to the Staffordshire Bull Terrier Society of NSW Inc's 78th Championship Show under renowned U.K specialist judge Mr Abe Harkness (Senkrah) on Easter Saturday, achieving some sensational results from an entry of 200 Staffords!

Syd was the star of the day, completing his Sydney campaign in superb style, winning Australian Bred Dog, Challenge Dog, and Runner Up Best In Show, handled by Peta! Our congratulations to Marty and Kaylene Spicer on another fine achievement for this stunning Oisin son at only 17 months of age. We wish you the best of luck with him at home in Melbourne - his antics will be missed by all of us here at Gamester.

Other achievements for the Gamester team on the day include:

  • Galadriel - awarded the prestigious Yvonne Reeder Best Champion (11 entries) - judge Mrs Barbara Skilton

Another champion for Oisin - Syd completes his title!

Syd completes his championship title after an exciting two month campaign here with the Gamester team in Sydney, becoming Oisin's ninth champion offspring. He was handled exclusively by Peta and Kim to his title, winning numerous Best In Group, Runner Up In Group, Class in Group, and 25 point Best of Breeds along the way, under breed specialists such as Mrs Jean Hockey (Roughstock, NSW), and terrier specialists such as Mr Kevin Howard, Mrs Lyn Brown and Mr Michael Derbyshire. 

Our congratulations to our dear friends Marty and Kaylene Spicer in Melbourne on breeding Aust Ch Saxxon Celtic Kid, their first homebred champion. Syd is now set to return to Melbourne following the specialty at Easter.

More honours for Oisin and the team...

For the second consecutive year, Oisin has qualified for the NSW Showdog of the Year competition, run by the Royal NSW Canine Council. Oisin received his invitation to compete in this prestigious competition, to be held on February 12, 2005 and open only to all breeds Best In Show winners, this week. His son Leo, as well as our up and coming youngster Lenny, have also qualified for the NSW Puppy of the Year competition, to be held on the same night. What an outstanding effort for our sensational team!

A magnificent weekend for the Gamester team....

Galadriel and one of our promising youngsters Lenny have led the Gamester team in style this weekend with some superb wins at the highest level.

Galadriel and Syd (Saxxon Celtic Kid) went to Newcastle for the Combined Northern Canine Committee Championship Show under highly-respected terrier specialist Mr Kevin Howard (NSW). From a large Stafford entry and against some top-winning competition this super pair were awarded both Challenge, with Galadriel going on to Best of Breed and Syd going on to Runner Up Best of Breed. Later in the evening Mr Howard awarded Syd Best Australian Bred In Group and Galadriel Best Open In Group.

Galadriel is fast racking up the points to her grand championship, whilst Syd is enjoying a very successful campaign with us here in Sydney, now well over halfway to his championship title! Congrats again to his owner/breeders Marty and Kaylene Spicer.

Lenny's handler and conditioner Donna Grogan took this lovely brindle youngster down to Albion Park Kennel Club under well-respected all-rounder judge Mrs Sandra Patterson (NSW), and was awarded Best of Breed, Best In Group, Best Junior In Group and BEST JUNIOR IN SHOW. What a super achievement for a dog of only 14 months of age against top competition. Way to go Lenny and Donna!

Another large Best of Breed win for Syd (the Oisin son Saxxon Celtic Kid) handled by Kim, this time at Penrith Kennel & Obedience Club under Mrs Kay Eldred (NSW). Congrats again to his owners/breeders Marty and Kaylene Spicer in Melbourne.

Galadriel enjoyed a brief rest from the show-ring while her handler Peta recovers from a knee injury - but Spoil came out for the night winning Best Junior of Breed.

A super New Years Eve.....

We were delighted that Syd's owners, the Spicer family, were able to join us at the RNSWCC Christmas Party Show to watch him be awarded Best Exhibit In Group at this large and prestigious show by well known terrier specialist Mrs Lyn Brown. Syd (Saxxon Celtic Kid) was handled by Kim to this award, and later went on to be selected in the final 3 for Best In Show by respected all rounder Mrs Wendye Slatyer. This super young Oisin son took out these awards at only just 14 months of age. Huge congrats to Marty and Kaylene on breeding this lovely youngster - he is pictured below with handler Kim, his owner Marty and the judge Mrs Brown.

Galadriel also continued her domination of the bitches, taking out a large bitch challenge at this show!

Christmas Show success at Gamester...

We had a successful night at the annual RNSWCC Christmas Party Show last night.

Galadriel continued her consistent form, taking out Challenge Bitch and Best of Breed from a large Stafford entry, going on to be short-listed in the top 3 for the group and awarded Best Australian Bred In Group from an enormous and top quality terrier entry. 

Congrats to our friends Marty and Kaylene Spicer, whose magnificent Oisin son Syd (Saxxon Celtic Kid) made his debut with us here at Gamester last night, handled by Peta to Reserve Challenge Dog from a large male entry at t 13 months of age! Syd will enjoy a short campaign with us here in Sydney before returning home to Melbourne next year.

Leo has a great win - in only his second show in the junior class, Leo is awarded Challenge Dog and Best of Breed at the Ladies Kennel Association of NSW. At the same show Galadriel wins Best Open In Group. Our thanks to respected all-rounder judge Mr Miles Gunter (NSW). Leo is now well on the path to his championship title.

Frozen semen news...

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of frozen semen from Eng Ch Ashstock By Jupiter (UK). As the successful importers of the first Staffordshire Bull Terrier frozen semen into Australia in 1985 (from Ch Colonial Force of Ashstock), and the first frozen semen of any breed from South Africa in 1996 (from SA Ch Bronxton Darius), we are proud to continue the tradition of improving the breed in Australia via this revolutionary method.

With an impeccable pedigree, we look forward to the contribution 'Jupiter' will unquestionably make to our breeding program - our bitches are simply made to go to this lovely dog.

Another good day for our team... 

Our team enjoyed a very good day at the Staffordshire Bull Terrier Society of NSW Inc's 77th Championship Show yesterday. In the special classes, judged by terrier specialist Mrs Pamela Harding (ACT), Bracken was awarded the Les Kendall Best By Exhibitor award from a very large entry, going on to also win the prestigious Yvonne Reeder Best Champion - an award presented in honour of his late breeder.

In the main classes, judged by noted New Zealand all-rounder and Stafford fancier Mr Phil Kersey, Galadriel was awarded Reserve Challenge Bitch and her sire Oisin was awarded Best Parent & Offspring for the third consecutive show from a quality entry in his only appearance for the day. 

We were also extremely proud to introduce our latest youngster here at Gamester, Knightlord Call Me Irish, bred in Queensland by Rob and Bec Price. 'Spoil' is sired by Oisin out of the very lovely Ch Knightlord Medievelmagic. Spoil made her show ring debut with great success, winning Best Minor Puppy In Show over a lovely entry of youngsters. Our thanks to Rob and Bec for allowing us to add Spoil to our kennel and breeding program, and to the Mendez family (especially the kids!) who spoil 'Spoil' with love and affection and keep her in such great condition. More news on Spoil in the future.

Great results for our Oisin kids...

Stepping out of the shadows of his famous sire and dam, Leo made his debut in the Junior class with great results this weekend at Newcastle Toy & All Breed Dog Club, taking out Challenge Dog from a large entry, Runner Up Best of Breed (to his half sister) and Best Junior In Group at only just 11 months of age. We have high hopes as this stunning youngster continues to mature.

Galadriel also took out a large challenge on the day, defeating Leo for a great 25 point Best of Breed win (Another Oisin daughter, Vic McGlashan's Castlestaff Miss Mischief, took out Reserve Challenge to her half sister!) Our thanks to terrier specialist judge Mrs Rebecca Preece-Harvey for recognising the excellence of these young dogs.

The team enjoyed another excellent day in the ring, this time at one of our local shows, Penrith AH & I Society.

Oisin was awarded Best of Breed and Runner Up Best In Group, Galadriel was Challenge Bitch and Best Australian Bred In Group, and Leo was Best Puppy of Breed. We were also delighted to have Bec and Rob Price of Knightlord Staffords in Brisbane as visitors to the Sydney showrings for the day - their gorgeous Oisin kids Knightlord Fianna Eirinn and Knightlord The Irish Inme were Best Minor Puppy of Breed and best of opposite respectively. At the tender age of only 8 months, 'Lily' went Challenge Bitch, Best of Breed and Best Minor Puppy In Group over a large metropolitan Stafford entry at the Dandenong Poultry and Kennel Society Championship Show at KCC Park yesterday. The judge was terrier specialist Mr Warren Goldsworthy. The future looks bright for this promising youngster.

Oisin is now the sire of champions in FOUR countries!

Our hearty congratulations to Kathy Grattan in Christchurch, New Zealand, owner and breeder of Oisin's latest champions (ex NZ Ch Gecane Fine N Dandy), NZ Ch Dockside Bellicose Boyo and NZ Ch Dockside Bellicose Belle. Bradley and Rosa both achieved the last two challenge certificates necessary for their titles this weekend, their first shows in the Junior class, at only 13 months of age. This means Oisin is now the sire of Champion stock in Australia, Ireland, Sweden and New Zealand with MANY MORE close to their titles.

Congratulations also go to Cary and Adriana Van Kleeff who took their beatiful Oisin babies (ex Ch Angusstaff Fire Storm) to their first show this weekend, with Vanstaff Fire N Ice (Allie) taking Best Baby Puppy In Group!

A sensational weekend for Oisin and his progeny!

Our show team made a triumphant return to the show rings this weekend after a break, enjoying great success at Sutherland Shire All Breeds Kennel Club's double weekend at Erskine Park.

Oisin was awarded Best in Group from a huge Terrier Group entry both days. Our thanks to highly-respected all-breeds judges Mrs Sandra Patterson (NSW) and Mrs Linda Buckley (A.C.T) for these awards. On Saturday, Lenny made a great return to the show ring to win Best Minor Puppy In Group under Mrs Patterson. He was Best Minor Puppy of Breed on Sunday under Mrs Buckley. But it was young Leo, our beautiful Oisin and Buffy son who really made his presence felt. Best Puppy of Breed on Saturday, on Sunday he went on to win Reserve Challenge and Runner Up Best of Breed to his sire over far more mature competition as well as Best Puppy In Group. Thank you again Mrs Buckley.

Congratulations must go to Linda and Melissa Boyle and Ch Stafflare Prince N Black, who completed his championship title this weekend. Duncan is the third champion from the litter of Oisin and Ch Stafflare Mirror Image, and is Oisin's fourth Australian champion so far, with many others close to their titles.

A great win for Bracken!

Whilst the home team at Gamester enjoys a couple of months break from the showring, Bracken goes to the show with David and Brooke and enjoys another great win.

At Combined Northern Canine Committee today, Bracken was Best of Breed from a large Stafford entry, Runner Up Best In Group and Best Australian Bred In Group. Our thanks go to terrier specialist judge Mrs L.K Brown (NSW).

Another BEST IN SHOW for Oisin!

What a sensational day at the show for Oisin and the Gamester team. 

At one of Sydney's most prestigious shows, Ladies Kennel Association, today, Oisin was awarded Best of Breed, Best In Group and BEST IN SHOW all breeds from some lovely competition. Our thanks to breed/group judge Mrs V Morrow (NSW) and Best In Show judge Mrs C Rafton (NSW) for this exciting award. Photos are coming soon...

It was also a great day for Lovely, who, at her first show in the Minor Puppy class, won a large challenge to start her campaign. Leo continued his great form with Best Minor Puppy In Group, and Bracken won Best Australian Bred In Group.

Another Champion for Oisin!

Oisin continues his fantastic run as a sire. Amongst the multiple awards won by his progeny at shows across Australia this weekend, warm congratulations must particularly go out to Linda Boyle's Ch Stafflare Double Image, who finished his Australian Championship title on the weekend at just over 18 months of age. Oisin sires another champion, and is now the sire of champions in 3 countries! Congratulations to Swedish/Irish Ch Moindearg Goban Saor (imp Ire) (Nollaig), and his owners Thomas and Sari Jerninger, on obtaining his Swedish championship title yesterday. Congratulations also to Nollaig's breeder, Tom and Pat Hehir in Ireland.

Continuing congratulations also must go to another Oisin son, in Dockside Bellicose Boyo (Bradley), owned by Kathy Grattan in New Zealand, who has enjoyed an impressive run of wins, and is now very close to his title with numerous challenge wins, a Best In Group and another Best Puppy In Show. We look forward to Bradley's New Zealand title, when Oisin will have sired champions in 4 countries!

Oisin and his progeny also enjoyed a great day at our local show, the Hawkesbury Agricultural Association. Oisin was Best of Breed and Runner Up Best In Group, Leo was Best Minor Puppy of Breed, and Howard and Lindy Jack's Jackstaff Keepsake and Jackstaff Kindred Spirit were Bitch Challenge and Reserve Bitch Challenge respectively. Our team enjoyed a very successful specialty weekend.

Oisin won the prestigious Sixth Trans Tasman Invitation Stakes - the Best of the Best 2004, hosted by the SBTS of NSW Inc. Oisin defeated a quality field of some of Australia's best Staffords under breed specialist Mrs Karen Tittle (UK), terrier specialist Mr Kevin Howard and noted all-rounded Mrs Val Morrow.

 

We were also delighted with Murphy's brief comeback from retirement, reaching the semi-finals of this competition, defeated only by his kennel mate Oisin.

At the SBTS of NSW Inc, both Oisin and Madison were awarded the Reserve Challenges under UK breed specialist Mrs Karen Tittle (a lovely and most pleasing win for Madison in particular). Leo was awarded 1st place in the Minor Puppy Dog Class, and Best Opposite Minor Puppy In Show (Leo's page is coming soon).

Oisin's progeny enjoyed a great day, helping him to win Best Parent & Offspring, and winning the following classes:

  • Saxxon Fire N Ice (K Spicer) - Best Baby Puppy In Show

What a return for Oisin...

Oisin returned to the show ring this weekend for the first time since gaining his grand championship a month ago, with sensational results.

At Hawkesbury Kennel Club, a large Sydney metropolitan show, he was awarded Best of Breed, Best In Group, Runner Up Best In Show and Best Open In Show. At the same show, his daughter Galadriel was Challenge Bitch, and his son Leo was Best Baby Puppy of Breed at his very first show! Our beautiful Lovely also won the Baby Puppy Bitch class at her first show.

 Our thanks to respected judges Mr Wayne Burton (NSW) and Mrs Elizabeth Gunter (NSW) for these exciting wins.

For those following news of Buffy's American trip, she has decided to stay home for now. We are looking forward to completing the campaign for her Australian Grand Championship title, and have another very exciting litter planned for her near future.

More champion progeny for Oisin!

Huge congratulations to Linda Boyle and the team at Stafflare Staffords in Cairns on titling their homebred Oisin daughter, Aust Ch Stafflare Heart Breaker, at the tender age of 16 months.

Rani's brothers Dee and Duncan and sister Lily are all only a few points away from their titles. 

Oisin will be returning to the showrings in the next couple of weeks, after enjoying a short break at the completion of his Australian Grand Championship title.

OISIN IS A GRAND CHAMPION!

Oisin completed the final few points required for his Australian Grand Championship title today at Northern All Breeds Kennel under terrier specialist judge Mrs Rebecca Preece-Harvey (NSW), with a decisive Best of Breed and Runner Up Best In Group win.

This completes an extensive 18 month grand championship campaign, with mutliple Best In Group, Best In Show and Runner Up Best In Show wins under local, interstate and overseas judges. One of the most titled Staffordshire Bull Terriers of modern times, Oisin holds the most prestigious titles available to our breed in the world and is still only 4 years of age. After a short break, Oisin's Australian campaign will continue shortly.

Our thanks to our many friends around the showring each week, as well as Oisin's may friends Australia-wide and internationally who have supported us so staunchly. Special thanks and congratulations must go to Martin Fitzpatrick (Ireland) for breeding this truly great show dog and sire, as well as Tom and Pat Hehir (Ireland) for sending him to us, and the many judges internationally who have consistently recognised and rewarded Oisin's excellence.

Oisin's show ring success continues!

At the RNSWCC New Years Eve Show, he once again took out Best of Breed, Best In Group and Runner Up Best Exhibit In Show, with another large all breeds entry. Our thanks to respected all-rounder judges Mr Lyn Butler (NSW) and Mrs Hilary Pedersen (NSW) for this exciting win. Oisin is now only 27 points away from his Grand Championship title....

At the same show, Galadriel was awarded Challenge Bitch and Runner Up Best of Breed to her sire. Thank you Mr Butler.

ANOTHER CHAMPION FOR OISIN!

We congratulate Tom and Pat Hehir and Oisin's son Irish Ch Feegarron Captain, who finished his Irish Championship title in style yesterday, winning the Green Star, Best of Breed and 4th Place in the Terrier Group, at the same show where his father completed his Irish show career 2 years ago with Best In Show all breeds.

Warm wishes and best of luck also to another Irish Oisin son, Irish Ch Moindearg Goban Saor, who is now commencing his career in Sweden with Thomas Jerninger and family.

ANOTHER GAMESTER CHAMPION!

Bracken finished his championship today in fine style, with a large challenge and Best Intermediate In Group under terrier fancier, all breeds judge Miss Elaine Davies (NSW). Bracken is the second champion for our kennel in the past month!

Oisin takes out another Best In Group win, putting his points tally over the 900 mark. With less than 100 points to go to his grand championship, Oisin is now on the home stretch. Our thanks to all-rounder judge Mr Miles Gunter (NSW) for this win at Fairfield & District All Breeds Kennel Club.

In another sensational win for his progeny, Oisin's New Zealand based son Bradley (Dockside Bellicose Boyo) took out Best Baby Puppy In Show at only his second show out, at Nelson Kennel Club. Huge congratulations go out to Bradley and his owner/breeder Kathy Grattan.

The Gamester team and their progeny enjoys another terrific run in the show-ring!

At the prestigious RNSWCC Spring Fair weekend, Galadriel picked up another 50 points, with Challenge Bitch and Best of Breed both days! On Saturday, she was also selected in the final four in a magnificent group line-up, and went on to Best Australian Bred In Group. 

Oisin was also Challenge Dog and Runner Up Best of Breed both days, and Bracken was Reserve Challenge Dog and Best Intermediate of Breed both days.

On Sunday, all of Oisin's entered progeny won their classes, and Howard, Lindy and Cate Jack's Jackstaff Kindred Spirit was awarded Best Junior In Group. Congratulations!

At the Illawarra and South East Region of N.S.W Championship Show, Galadriel completed her championship with Best of Breed, Best In Group and Runner Up Best In Show at all breeds level! Bracken enjoys more success, with Best of Breed, Runner Up Best In Group and Best Intermediate In Group at Blaxland & Glenbrook Kennel Club with a quality Sydney metropolitan entry. Oisin was awarded Challenge Dog, Runner Up Best In Show and Best Open In Show, and was also the winner of the Yvonne Reeder Best Champion award. He was also awarded Best Parent & Offspring, amidst a quality entry, with progeny Gamester Galadriel, Jackstaff Keepsake, Jackstaff Kindred Spirit, Stafisfy To Die For and Stafisfy Miss Chievous accompanying him.

Madison was awarded the Open Bitch class and Best opposite Open In Show to Oisin.

Oisin won another 25 point Best of Breed and Runner Up Best In Group over some good competition at Blacktown Kennel & Training Club on Sunday. His daughter Galadriel was Reserve Challenge Bitch and Best Junior of Breed, his son Jackstaff Key To Success (owned by Howard & Lindy Jack) was Best opposite Junior of Breed, and his daughter Jackstaff Kindred Spirit (also owned by Howard & Lindy Jack) was Best Puppy of Breed. WHAT A DOUBLE!

Today we received written confirmation that Oisin has been invited to participate in the very prestigious Contest of Champions, conducted by Sutherland Shire All Breeds Kennel Club.

As if this isn't exciting enough, Oisin's beautiful daughter Galadriel has been invited to compete in the prestigious Champions of Tomorrow competition on the same evening - one of only 12 puppies (all breeds) across N.S.W to qualify!

We are thrilled with the achievements of our team, and look forward to a wonderful night on November 15. We are putting together a table of Oisin and Galadriel's supporters for the evening, so friends, please email us if you are interested in attending.

Bracken took Challenge Dog and Runner Up Best of Breed at T & G All Breeds Dog Club under terrier specialist Mrs Lou Endean (QLD) - well done David & Brooke! At Brisbane Water Legacy Dog Club, Galadriel took Challenge Bitch, Runner Up Best of Breed to her father, and Best Junior In Group. She is now only a few points from her title at the tender age of 12 months.

In a great weekend in Ireland, Oisin's son 'Captain' - Feegarron Captain - owned by Tom and Pat Hehir went to the breed specialty championship show in Cork, winning the Limit Dog Class and Reserve Challenge Dog under specialist judge Mr Philip O'Sullivan. The following day, at the Munster All Breeds Championship Show, Captain won Best of Breed, Best in Terrier Group, and 3RD PLACE IN SHOW. Judges were terrier specialist Mr Sean Knight (breed), Mr John Madden (group) and Mr John Walsh (Best In Show).

Another great weekend for Oisin, his progeny, and the rest of the Gamester Show Team!

Oisin, Buffy and Galadriel went to St George District Kennel Club with a very large entry, and took out a clean sweep of the Staffords. Oisin was Challenge Dog and Best of Breed (25 points), Buffy was Challenge Bitch, Runner Up Best of Breed and Best Australian Bred In Group (25 points) and Galadriel was Reserve Challenge Bitch and Best Puppy of Breed! Our thanks to terrier specialist judge Mrs Rebecca Preece-Harvey (NSW).

Congratulations to Hayley Maulder and Buffy who competed in the Pal Junior Showmanship qualifying heat at St George District Kennel Club with a large entry of experienced boys and girls. In a terrific performance, these girls finished in third place, winning lots of praise from the judge - no easy task with a Stafford. We were VERY PROUD of you both, particularly as this was Buffy's first time in junior handlers and she performed like an old hand!

Big congratulations also to Linda Boyle in Cairns and her Oisin daughter Stafflare Heart Breaker (Rani) who continued her winning form this weekend, winning Challenge Bitch, Best Minor Puppy In Group and Best Minor Puppy In Show on Saturday, going on to Challenge Bitch, Best of Breed, RUNNER UP BEST IN GROUP, and Best Minor Puppy In Show on Sunday. Oisin wins BEST EXHIBIT IN THE TERRIER GROUP at the 2002 RNSWCC Spring Fair Dog Show, NSW's premier dog show! Our thanks to international terrier specialist judge Mr John Hartigan (Ireland) for this stunning win in top competition with over 250 terriers!

More fantastic wins for Oisin!

Following his Best In Group award at Orange Kennel Club under Terrier Specialist Mrs Glenys Alexander, Oisin takes BEST IN GROUP and BEST OPEN IN SHOW with a huge entry at Campbelltown & District Kennel Club. Madison also took Challenge Bitch, Runner Up Best of Breed and Best Intermediate In Group at the same show! Our thanks to judges Mrs Carolyn Butler and Mrs Helen Cramer. The Gamester show team enjoys a wonderful weekend at specialty level!

Following her recent outstanding wins, Buffy had a wonderful day at the Staffordshire Bull Terrier Society of NSW Inc's Yvonne Reeder Memorial Championship Show. Not only did she finish the yearly pointscore as N.S.W's #1 Stafford Bitch, she went on to win the first ever Yvonne Reeder Best Champion Class, as well as Challenge Bitch, Runner Up Best In Show and Best Australian Bred In Show.

At the same show, Oisin took out Reserve Challenge Dog and Best Open In Show, and Bracken performed beautifully to win the prestigious Dr Lois Davidson Best Young Australian award! Our thanks to Australian breed specialist judge Mrs Lyn McKittrick (Supasound), and to noted local all-rounder Mrs Kay Eldred for these wonderful wins!

At the British Terrier Club of NSW Championship Show, Willow won a wonderful Baby Puppy Bitch class of 16 at her very first show, and Madison put in a great performance to win a class of 17 Intermediate Bitches and Best Intermediate of Breed. Our thanks to English Breed Specialist Mrs Ann Goddard (Topstar) for recognising our young stars.

    We are delighted that Buffy has finished the season as the British Terrier Club of NSW's top Stafford for 2001/2003. Buffy will proudly represent our breed at the NSW Terrier of the Year later this month. Our congratulations and thanks to Donna and Buffy on a sensational 12 months showing!

Another great weekend for the show team!

Oisin takes another Best In Group, and Madison takes out Best Intermediate In Group, at Penrith A, H & I Society under Terrier Specialist Judge Mrs Rita Francis-Little (NSW).

On the same weekend, Oisin takes out Runner Up Best In Group and Bracken is awarded Best Puppy In Group at Campbelltown All Breeds Kennel Club. Buffy also continues to rack up the Challenge points. Many thanks to judge Mrs Elizabeth Gunter (NSW).

After a two weeks break from the show-ring Oisin wins another Best In Terrier Group in top Sydney metropolitan competition at Liverpool & Districts All Breeds Kennel Club.

New pictures and information on Bracken - Gamester Kick It To Me - are now online.

 Gamester has another great day at the show, with Oisin taking Best In Group (again!) and Best Open In Show - all breeds - at the Brisbane Water Legacy Dog Club Championship Show.
Madison was awarded Best Intermediate In Group, and Bracken was Best Puppy of Breed.

Gamester has a great weekend at the North of the Harbour Winter Classic weekend under a full panel of international judges!

On Saturday, under Mr Gerard Robinson of South Africa, Oisin took out Challenge Dog and a 25 point Best of Breed with a great entry of Staffords. At the same show Buffy took out Challenge Bitch, and Madison won Reserve Challenge Bitch. Buffy was also Best Australian Bred in the Terrier Group.

On Sunday, under Mr M Fukushima of Japan, Buffy won Challenge Bitch and Best of Breed and Oisin won Challenge Dog and Runner Up Best of Breed. Buffy was short-listed in the top four for Best in the Terrier Group and again won Best Australian Bred In Group.

The Gamester show team continues to be recognised by specialists and all-rounders from all over the world!

Oisin wins another Best In Group!

Many thanks to noted all-rounder judge Mrs Julie Gotch for this great win against some lovely competition at Sutherland Shire All Breeds Kennel Club! Oisin was the proud winner of the Ch Abraxas Acrisius Perpetual Trophy. Madison also took out the Bitch Challenge and Runner Up Best of Breed at the same show!

Oisin's trip to Brisbane was a great success, taking out Challenge Dog & Reserve Best In Show at the Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club of Queensland Championship Show under breed specialist Mrs Doreen Pugh (Rocellio - UK). The following day he was awarded Challenge Dog & Best of Breed at the Queensland Kennel Club Championship Show under breed specialist Mr Roger Pugh (Rocellio - UK), completing his Australian Championship title at the age of 3 years and 1 day!

The following week, Oisin took out back-to-back Best In Terrier Group awards under respected all rounder judges Mr Guy Spagnolo and Mr Robert Curtis at the Leeton Griffith Kennel Club weekend in Wagga Wagga!

As we mourn the loss of our wife, mother, grandmother and founder of Gamester - the late Mrs Yvonne Reeder - a tribute is now online. Our sincere thanks to the many hundreds of friends worldwide who have offered us so much support over the past month. Your friendship is treasured and appreciated. What a debut! Eng/Irish Ch Cumhil Little Mischief (imp Ire) goes to his first Australian Show at Dubbo Show Society and wins Best in the Terrier Group.

ANOTHER BEST IN SHOW FOR BUFFY!
Multi BIS Ch Gamester Kiss Me takes out another Best In Show award, this time at the Canberra & District Sporting Terrier Club's April 6 Championship Show! Our thanks to Terrier Specialist judges Mr Kevin Howard (breed) and Mr Ken Sheppard (General Specials).
